What is CouldBeDown?
- CouldBeDown is a group availability scheduler. The organizer picks dates and a time window and shares a link. Everyone drags across a grid to mark when they're free, the overlap lights up, and the organizer proposes a time, collects RSVPs and locks it in.
Is CouldBeDown free?
- Yes, CouldBeDown is free to use right now.
Do the people I invite need an account?
- No. Guests open the link, type their name and mark when they're free. To get email updates they can enter an email address or sign in with Google. Signing in with Google also keeps a history of their plans and lets them link Google Calendar.
How is this different from a simple availability poll?
- After people fill in their availability, the organizer can propose one or more times, everyone RSVPs going or not going, and the plan is confirmed. The poll doesn't just end with a winning slot that nobody acts on.
Does it work with my calendar?
- If you sign in with Google, you can link Google Calendar to see your busy times on the grid and have confirmed plans added to your calendar. Anyone can use the .ics download on confirmed plans for Apple Calendar, Outlook and others.
